BioShock and BioShock 2 take place in the fictional underwater city of Rapture. Built in the late 1940s by business tycoon Andrew Ryan, it was meant to be a laissez-faire utopia for humanity's elite to work, live, and prosper out of the increasingly oppressive hands of the world's governments and authorities.

The scientists of Rapture soon discovered a substance called ADAM found in sea slugs on the ocean's floor. With ADAM, they could create plasmids that would overwrite a person's genetic material, granting them superhuman-like abilities, and soon became a valuable commodity. They devised a means of harvesting ADAM using little girls, named "Little Sisters", implanting the sea slugs in their stomachs. ADAM was found to lead to mental instability in its users, and along with other political and social movements within Rapture, the Little Sisters became targets of those desiring more ADAM. To protect them, the scientists created Big Daddies, mentally conditioned and mutated humans in armored diving suits that drove off any attackers from Little Sisters.

On the eve of 1959, war broke out in Rapture between its classes, fueled by ADAM-addicted "Splicers". The war left Rapture a dystopia within a year, with the few non-ADAM users sheltering themselves from Splicers.

the first blockbuster from the blockbuster series its here HALO:combat evolved.this games story is epic it starts in the pillar of autumn a human battleship floating somewhere in the galaxy as you fight with the alien race worshipping their god with killing humans and extincting their their ship is left behind by their fighter jet type of thingy.then the covenant attacks the ship captain and our

commander throughout the game captain keyes initiates ship abandoning process and he lands the ship on the mysterious artificial world HALO.the ships became a base of operation at halo

we are given the responsibility of protection of AI named cortana.that's just a bit of a background now lets just talk about its gameplay

Gameplay:

this game can be called a sort of a sandbox first person shooter you have the ability to drive any type of alien or human vehicles but you don't find that much vehicles.my favourite was the warthog

an army SUV.the shooting mechanics are pretty simple and great gives you a feeling of real life shooting.the movements are very awesome.i ain't joking they are very natural movements.overall the gameplay is very great with decent sounds

gameplay:9.0 due to the sounds thing and some less weapon choice

Graphics:

the graphics are great if we take it as compared to other 2001 PC

it was like battlefield 3 of 2001

with nice lightning effect and good use of pixel shaders its pretty good to play the game for graphics

graphics:9.3 lacks some facial detail

Story:

the story is a base for the 2003 novel halo:the flood

the story is this much well written that it makes the game more and interesting.that you would be dying to complete the game campaign.that story is written like a grand melody of symphonies as it unfolds it becomes more and more melodious.the story is very fun the ending isnt like they lived happily after.

Multiplayer:

this multiplayer features red vs. blue multiplayer game developed by bungie studios.the multiplayer ,maps features more weapons and vehicles than the campaign.

here is a sequel to a great game title medal of honor and this is medal of honor (formerly known as MEDAL OF HONOR:Operation anaconda).Singleplayer developed by danger close studios (looks like a new kid on the block)
you arer a tier one operator working in afghanistan a devgru soldier(even i dont know the meaning of DEVGRU) with his team consisting of voodoo,preacher,neptune.You take control of a navy seal (the one i mentioned before) in one part of the game and in the rest as a DELTA force sniper (my favourite part) and an ah-64 apache gunner.This game have got a great multiplayer indeed.AND also a gteat story mostly involving operation anaconda and mostly battle of takur ghar or more famous as BATTLE OF ROBERTS RIDGE (must be a lucky a man with his name on a battle)
a good game but lacks in some ways with the controls.another thing i forgot about it that this game makes use of skill tree as you complete the single player you unlock new things for use in multiplayer.for instance you dont have a proper sniper scope at first but you could unlock a combat sniper scope on level three.with a variety of weapons and good graphics i would conclude its worth the time to play a game.
